The KBIG Difference

KBIG, the Kansas Builders Insurance Group, has been a trusted partner for contractors and builders in Kansas for three decades. Founded on a promise to offer a secure, stable place for workers’ compensation, we provide members with valuable resources, unparalleled expertise and trusted service.

Driven by this promise and our Board of Trustees, which is 100% comprised of our members, we were able to return one million dollars directly to our members in 2023 and 10 million dollars since our inception. From our continuing education classes to the exceptional service of our claims department, we ensure our members receive expert-level, hands-on support.

Through our continuing education classes, we empower members with resources that deliver answers to their questions, as well as added value to partner agencies. With a total of five hours of Continuing Education (CE) credits available through three separate classes, we equip our members with the tools they need to navigate insurance complexities.

With expertise, personalized service and valuable recourses, KBIG continues to serve as a trusted resource and partner for Kansas builders and contractors. That’s the KBIG difference.

KBIG Participates in 2023 Clay Shoot Fundraiser Hosted By WABA

Our KBIG team recently participated in the annual clay shoot fundraiser put on by the Wichita Area Builders Association (WABA). This event stands as an example of KBIG and WABA’s dedication to its community of members.

Beyond the fundraising aspect, the clay shoot serves as an invaluable platform for members to connect, exchange ideas and build relationships in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. In an industry known for its demanding and high-pressure nature, events like these offer a refreshing break where professionals can come together, see familiar faces and strengthen bonds.

The sense of camaraderie fostered during the event not only enhances professional networking but also creates a strong sense of community among builders, reinforcing the importance of industry associations like WABA in providing a supportive network for individuals and companies within the building field.

The special partnership between KBIG and WABA exemplifies how businesses and industry associations can collaborate for mutual benefit, ensuring that builders have access to essential services while supporting the growth and sustainability of the organization.

By offering workers’ compensation coverage, loss control and claims services and safety resources to members of WABA, KBIG demonstrates its commitment to the industry.

Join WABA today, and you can gain access to several benefits, including a potential KBIG membership. Learn more about the resources KBIG offers its members and find out how you can become a member of WABA today.

KBIG Is Celebrating Careers in Construction Month

KBIG Is Celebrating Careers in Construction Month

At KBIG, we believe in investing in the future of the construction industry. This means educating, mentoring and providing valuable insights to the next generation of builders and tradesmen. One way we do this is by attending various career expos and events that provide a look into all that the construction industry has to offer.

It also means promoting the trades that make up the construction industry as a whole, including plumbing, carpenters, painters, welders, ironworkers, bricklayers, electricians, laborers, roofers, heavy equipment operators, plasterers, pipe fitters, sheet metal workers, masons, millworkers, HVAC technicians and so much more.

With October being National Careers in Construction Month, we want to send a big ‘Thank You!’ to anyone and everyone who plays a part in the construction industry. Your hard work, dedication and skill sets are vital to maintaining such an integral part of everyday life.

Kansas Build My Future Event

We are excited to share that KBIG was a sponsor in our first ever, Kansas Build My Future Event! This occasion was specifically designed to introduce high school students to a diverse range of trades, enabling them to explore their interests. We are proud to stand alongside various organizations within the construction industry, lending our unwavering support.
